These "no more GAS" predictions always prove false.
You'll soon be GASsing for a roadie.
Enjoy the big rig.
Just wondering if anyone has managed to get a overdriven sound out of this badboy???
Yeah, like others have said, this one is really designed to stay clean. If you want an overdrive tone, you should probably go for the BB750 or something else.Just wondering if anyone has managed to get a overdriven sound out of this badboy???
I have. You can get some breakup out of it if you really push it really hard at the input stage (which might require an outboard preamp or particularly hot bass and heavy style), but it's clear it's simply not designed for that. Thing is, I think I'd typically go for outboard devices for stuff like this anyway, 'cause that wouldn't be a sound I'd use all night. I'd only use it for certain songs, and I wouldn't want to keep readjusting my amp.Ive already got one, just wondering if anyone had tried to do it! So I didnt have to try haha, Yer I didnt think that it could but I just love this amp. I use it with the PH410 and a stingray and I also started using a EBS multidrive in front of it, Sounds EPIC
"the person"?And +1 to the person that suggested a BB750 for more of an overdirve tone..

LOL!!!!!Oh man.. I apologize Vic... "Vic" recommended the BB750Im terrible on these forum things...
Does the M9 have the same basic sort of clean sound as the M6? I was hoping for more tube drive in the M6, but couldn't dial enough in to my satisfaction.
LOL!!!!!
Sorry Kirk, just couldn't resist.![]()
Has the M6 enough eq/tone-shaping features, or is it more of a plug-and-play amp?
