I imagine a few of you have had the chance to A/B a Walkabout head into the Scout 12" cab and an Aguilar GS112.
What are your opinions? Similarities? Differences? Pros/Cons? Thanks!
Mesa says do not use for a long time the head at 2 ohm.
Is it dangerous to use the walkabout scout (4 ohm ) paired with a powerhouse 2x10 (8 ohm)?

Fredguy; I have a 1990 900ss...sweet avatar!
I used my 4 ohm Walkabout Scout with a 4 ohm LDS 2x8+5 last night.
Ran hard, for four continous hours with no problems...
I think with the 210xlt would be niiice.
This is with a Dr Bass 1260, but you get the picture...

Usually at the gig, I lay the bottom cab longways instead of tallways...this is just stored by the door it leaves out of.
I have changed the fan and it is more quiet. But I have background hiss noticeable at low volumes. Anybody know if Mesa addresses this, or what I can do to eliminate the hiss?
TIA
Lots of folks have done it with no problems. Tonight I'm using the WalkAbout head with a 4 ohm UL410 and an 8 ohm UL210....we'll see.Mesa says do not use for a long time the head at 2 ohm.
