NO but the drummer Norm also plays in Psychotic Waltz. They are a thrash band with some former members of Cage. I recently removed my old avatar because they are going to be using it on their CD release soon.

I think a lot of people (outside of the metal community) would be surprised by how intelligent and educated the metalhead fan base is.
Its nothing more than a release of energy and emotion. It has nothing to do with how smart you are.

Alot of us do! I know lawyers, Dr.'s, Dentist's and restaurant/retail managers who are metalheads. I see your point and agree with you wholeheartedly though.
People who openly stereotype are the ones who show ignorance.
Metalheads have always had intellectual tendencies. Lyrics that are socially conscious, literature based and from a unique perspective are predominant in most metal bands.
Ya but I point out I was talking about Metal head musicians. There are doctors and lawyers who play bass but probably not as good as I did say 20 years ago.
Ive been listening to alot of Suicical lately
I really like Robert T. sound, so ive been trying to mimic that tone
But, ive been hearing alot of In this Moment and Mudvayne on satelite radio, so im kinda getting into them.....i love that song Not Falling. The bass line in that is pretty awesome

I have been listening to Animals As Leaders alot recently, as well as a lot of my older prog metal stuff: Fates Warning; Coroner; Queensryche; Watchtower....
when I was a kid, for some reason, I would listen to Krokus, Def Leppard, Rush, Ratt and Dokken around the holidays. Have been listening to them a lot too. I think that all leads back to the very first gig I ever did was on the weekend of Christmas Break my freshman year. We played a show in a church basement with many songs by these groups on the set list. I had spent the preceding months learning and jamming stuff by these bands....Salad Days stuff
