My alternating favorite bass is now being sold by my favorite dealer.

I'm doomed.

Right now is one of those times where I'm glad I'm not right-handed, because if you were ordering a lefty P/J 5'er for stock, I'd buy that shizzle in a heartbeat.

Chris, I'm southpaw but learned to play right. I KNEW I should've stuck to lefty.:D

God Bless, Ray

This is such a great relationship (for the record, I was the first to suggest Lull to Greg when he asked about the Warwick loss situation, but I digress :spit:), Roscoe & Lull, man- pretty much covers all the needs for 90% of electric basses.

I think Greg and Danny had a premonition earlier with the new, larger building. Great to see your business is expanding and in the most positive direction.

Good on ya, mate!

Name your model and color, Chris! :)

You, sir, are evil.

Ok... say that my wife and I weren't expecting a baby in 6 weeks and I was actually able to order one from you...

I'd basically order the slightly over-weight left-handed cousin to Jerry's sunburst "70's Style" J-Bass.

PJ5
Ash Body
70's Sunburst
Maple FB
B/W/B Pickguard
Duncan/Lull P'ups
Nordy 2-Band Preamp, wired V/V/T&B Stack

OH MY GAWD that bass would rule my universe.

:hyper:

Now, I just need to find a bank to rob...

:bawl:

This is what I'm talking about, with rosewood or ebony fretboard.

I placed my first special order with Lull today (i.e. we spec'd these out instead of just grabbing things off the shelf). I'm not a P-Bass afficianado (yet!), so I asked Mike to spec them out for me. Here's what we have going:

PJ5: Alder/RW, Oly White, Tort guard, matching headstock
PJ5: Ash/BEM, Black, Tort guard

I've seen a Lull P/J-5 with that exact Oly White/rosewood/tort/headstock combo before, one truly killer looking bass you have on the way.

And of course, black/maple/tort is a classic combo.

Mmmm....

I suppose with it being a P/J and three knob/side jacked, there's probably enough room to jimmy in a pre-amp later, if a buyer decides they want to modern it up some more.

Maybe even one of them new East P-Retros, using the third hole for some kind of pickup selector, like a rotary switch, or blend.
