Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Well, I finally got my new TH500 out to play with the band today. Just used my almost 20 year old SWR Monitor 12 wedge today, but have a DeCuir (DC) 12" cab (no tweeter) that I can pair with it.

Head - 4 pounds
SWR cab - 33 pounds
DC - about 30 pounds

The brackets I built really work well for keeping the head on the cab. And, it removed by just unscrewing the knurled knobs.

Today carried my bass on my back, the head and chords in a bag from my shoulder, and carried the SWR in one hand. This was much easier than schlepping my 90 lb GK 210 combo.

Wounding it it's worth swapping out the driver in the SWR for a new HO. Would probably only save 4-6 lbs.

Vit C, manual transmission, Ultimate package.

By the way, the Veloster has gobs of room and is not just for mini rigs. If y'all will excuse me going a bit off topic, check out how much room is available in the Veloster Turbo:

That's a Fender 6x10, with a Super Bassman head in front of it. I could have easily fit an 8x10 (and then put the head in the front seat). I also have two basses (could have fit more), a GRAMMA pad, stands, wireless, camera bag, backup head (Markbass Big Bang) and more, and I still had room for a passenger! :hyper: :bassist:  :D
