Mini Rigs of Doom-Let's see 'em!l

Here's my practice/small gig rig, which is relatively mini: GK 200MB with a BagEnd Q10X-D cab. You can tell it's a Rig of Doom by the totally badass black-on-black evil bass.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. No more than 2 x 12's.

It's relative: if your "maxi" rig is an SVT with an 810 or 215, "mini" can encompass quite a bit.

IMHO, most folks wouldn't consider a 410 a "mini" cab.

While not 'mini' by my definition, that is a fine, fine rig, my friend!

300 watts, one neo 12+horn+ passive radiator: big phat juicy tone! One 12ax7 in the preamp, another one pushing 6 mosfets...The head slides right out for use with bigger cabs, and so far I haven't met one it doesn't sound awesome with.
It can be carried, easily, with one hand. Gig bag over the shoulder and I still have hands left

I've used this at small gigs and jams. I guess it's really a guitar amp, but it sounds wonderful with bass.

I think it's about time that some brave company started manufacturing 15" rack mount cases . Or do they already ...?

My Markbass head arrives tomorrow hyper: ), but I'm loathed to put a 2.4kg amp in a 5kg 3HE flight case.

Looking at the dimensions of your walls there, I'd say you made a very wise cab choice!

I carry my LMK in an attache case forget the rack this way I can sling it over my shoulder carry my double gig bag and my cab in one trip if I really push it ( did this last week) I carried my Double bag my attache with my lmk and cables, my markbass 1 x 12 and my NS Wav 4 in on one trip.....It was a bit of a stretch though.

Yeah, I was thinking along similar lines . The "official" Markbass rucksack is €100 (lots of money, in any currency), which is a bit silly really.

A big laptop bag, or even just a rucksack might be the way to go. Great to have these options though, don't you think? What would our forefathers have given to be able to miniaturize their Sunn Colluseum rigs, I wonder?

I think you could find a laptop bag that would work I just happened to have this attache which my company had imported a few years back. I actually do have one of the mark bass bags on order as well, but maybe this attache is better.

I have the LMK and spent the money for the bag. Yes it's expensive! But it's very very good. I never take it out from the bag, just unzip put on the whatever cab (it has whatshallicallit thing on the ear which keeps steady on the carpet cover), take the cables out, and
