Mini Rigs of Doom-Let's see 'em!l

Much better pic! Although my Trans orange SR5 still looks red.

The 8x10 cab is a tough to move and these little 112's sound so good, I dont know how much time away from home the 810 is gonna get.

Yeah Sean, dittos again... here's what I'm talkin' about (again)... to me, THIS is really more of a "mini rig of doom". Small but barks like HECK! I'd seriously consider gigging with this little bad boy...

Here's the mini rig of doom that's been rockin' my world lately...

Eden WT-405 and a pair of those Yamaha BBT110S cabs...

620W, and mind blowing depth for a pair of micro 10's...

I tried one of the Yamaha BBT500 heads, but just really didn't like it much. However, I've always been a big fan of Eden stuff, especially the Time Traveler stuff (ironically, since it's not their mainstream)...

I also have the Eden WTX-260 and it does amazing things with one of these cabs. Can't run both with that head, it won't do 2 ohms, but man, for a micro-110 rig, it's surprising.

Lend me your Eden head :)
No can do my (truly) good friend, no can do... :)

I'm gigging my Yamaha rig this Friday night, and will probably be using it for 70% of my gigs this year heh.
Wow, you need to get a used WT-405. I had that Yamaha head, and IMHO, it's ok, but the 405 easily beats it in both tone and output (if you dig the Eden SS tone, anyway, and I definitely do).

Should have bought the WT-405.
AND a pair of those yamaha BBT110S cabs... I have a source for up to 4 brand new ones still in the boxes, for the same MF closeout price of about 150 each shipped. That's THEFT for these cabs!! I'm thinkin' about picking up a third just to have a spare.

The 405 pairs up incredibly well with these cabs... incredibly well...

Hell, while I'm here, I might as well.

My mini-rig:

Hartke 3500 (why I'm GASsing for that 405) and Eden 210XLT.

Yeah, I have an 8-space rack case... A 2-space rack drawer is in the mail. I also plan on getting a power conditioner, tuner, compressor soon... and maybe wireles.

Just to fill things out a bit. ;-D

PS - Sorry for the picture. camera phone...

A macabre joke about two head being better than one comes to mind... :D

Can't blame a guy for asking :D heheheh :ninja:

Yeah, I agree, the Yamaha isn't perfect for my situation. It is worth what I paid, and then some, but I am a bit picky heh. I haven't heard the Eden SS tone, except my old Eden Metro, and I don't think I used the SS but maybe twice.

Well, hey, if you were in my neck of the woods and we were just talking about borrowing for a gig day, it'd be in your hands in a heartbeat, but I'd have to give you GAS warning for sure. :) These things are almost as quick as a Thunderfunk, and IMHO have all the "best elements" of the Eden tone. I run it darn near flat with enhance backed off to about 9:00. Done. From there, just adjust the compressor to suit. I LOVE the adjustable compressor! WHY OH WHY don't they put that on ALL their stuff???

I get much more "clarity" from it without touching the EQ than the tube Edens as well, and dude, pair that up with these super bright yammies and you gotta' crank those tweeters down to also about 9:00, but when you do, you get a REALLY nice clear and smooth high end.

Yeah, I know... rant, rant, rant, rant... you'd think I'd be GAS free, but... I'm a sick man... :help:

Room for a small one...??

Ashdown Superfly 500, 2xTech Soundsystems 12" cabs [300w/10kg each], Jaydee Roadie [1978 Ibanez Rick copy and unbranded Jazz bass with Audere/Bartolinis/Gotoh not in shot]. I'm a lucky guy!

Sorry 'bout the size of the pic.

D.
