Are you tired of being rejected by the mini rigs of doom people just because you have more than one cab? There is hope. There is healing. There is MINI STACKS OF DOOM!

Stack 'em if you got 'em!

OK...I'll play...

Here is my min-stack of doom. It is a WT500 amp upgraded to 400-watts per channel into 4 ohms or 800-watts bridged into 8 ohms. The speakers are the Eden EX-112 cabs in 4 ohms and they each will handle 300-watts rms. I plug one into each side of my WT500/800. The cabs are so compact (15¼" wide, 16" tall, 14¾" deep) that my normal size Eden amp in its rack makes a T-shaped stack out of it even when I turned the cabs on their sides. Used it for medium size venues, which were most of the gigs. Got lots of complements on my sound with this.

And here's the real stack of doom. Using that same amp bridged at 800-watts, the DNS-210 cab (handles 700-watts rms) is used by itself for all indoor venues. The DNS-410 that it is sitting on (handles 1400-watts) is used for outdoor venues and Festivals. I only stacked it this way once in an "almost large" venue because I wasn't sure if the 210 would handle the room. If it wasn't enough, I could quickly unplug the 210 and plug in the 410 instead. That 210 more than handled it (crazy loud cab) and I never plugged in the 410, just used it as an amp stand to raise up the 210. I can't imagine standing anywhere close to this stack if I run both at the same time...still, I could do that! Not as big as some stacks but not really a "mini-stack". It really is a stack of DOOM! though.

I actually have one of those little Eden cabs! I've never used it for anything yet. Right now it's in my apartment with the TC Electronic BH250 on it. Nice to know that at 4 Ohms it's getting all 250 watts. Sounds pretty good to me.
