The Phillies are toying with my emotions. They made me ask "What if?" Which leads to hope and optimism.

Yeah, geez. I guess what goes around comes around. And Ray. What's up with that guy, anyway?Walk-off bomb! I said I would cheer for the M's, and I thought I was cheering for them, but... it felt very satisfying seeing Alvarez hit that homer off Ray![]()
Ray has always been prone to giving up homers, unfortunately. Wasn't his fault that there were two guys on base though. It's easy to question the strategy when it doesn't work, but I legit don't think it was the right thing to do. Ray hasn't made an appearance out of the bullpen in a long time and some starters just aren't comfortable or good at doing the bullpen thing. I dunno, maybe his splits against Alvarez were really good this year..? Also, after seeing how poorly Sewald pitched in Toronto last weekend, I wouldn't have gone to him to start the 9th last night either... I guess they didn't have another reliable arm left in the 'pen?Yeah, geez. I guess what goes around comes around. And Ray. What's up with that guy, anyway?
Agony. The difficulty factor just went way up. The Mariners have to win the next three in a row. They are streaky and could do it.
I hope the M's still have some fight left in them, but the odds of them advancing seem rather slim. I guess I will be either a Guardians or Dads fan if they can advance. That's that for Atlanta. I'm a bit disappointed about that. I don't find Philly to be a very fun team. I'm probably not jumping on that bandwagonI hope the M's still have some fight left in them, but the odds of them advancing seem rather slim. This is such sweet agony. The Mariners do nothing the easy way. The stadium must be a crazy place to be. Seattle crowds can be raucous and they have been bringing it. On to the 11th.I'm pulling for them!!!
And for my Cougs, in just a few hours.
Yeah, I will be the same if the Mariners are out. But the fat lady ain't singing yet. That's that for Atlanta. I'm a bit disappointed about that. I don't find Philly to be a very fun team. It's looking like Cleveland might fall a game behind NYY in the other ALDS tonight too. Yankees/Astros ALCS is not what I signed up for!!!Nope. I hate the Yankees and especially hate the Astros.Ugh, that hurts and I'm just a bandwagon M's fanIt's looking like Cleveland might fall a game behind NYY in the other ALDS tonight too. Absolutely they are. I even grew up in Central Ohio, so it is not a stretch.Well the Guardians are your favorite team now! (for now, rather)
