MLB 2023

They do. I hope it's a Braves/Orioles Series.
That would be great. Os scare me, so good on both sides. I’m also a little nervous if we have to play Philly along the way too. I would not be surprised to see Baltimore getting there. They’re staying “better” late and some of the other hot teams in AL have been sliding. Good luck.

Dodgers vs. O’s would be a great series! I hope Roberts doesn’t pull his usual boneheaded stunts along the way to prevent that from happening.
Go Dodgers!

LAD played the Braves close all season.
I know deep down every rational person is at least a casual Braves fan though. It’s not too late for you.
My only concern about Braves is our bullpen and Dodgers seem to be doing pretty well there.

And the Rockies have now entered history!

First 100-loss season in the franchise history. As of Friday, they stand at 101 losses.

My wife had a nice bottle of wine labeled "Baseball Syrah." We celebrated this historical (hysterical) moment by enjoying a glass.

Be ready for the Rockies to do very little in the offseason to improve. They averaged slightly more than 30,000 fans per game, so why do they need to improve?

Yesterday's rain in NYC suspended the Mets/Marlins game in the top of the 9th after the Marlins came back from a 1-0 deficit to take a 2-1 lead. The fish enter today with a 1/2 game lead over the Cubs. Should the Cubs win *one* more game than the Marlins this weekend then the fish would need to complete that game on Monday . . . with men on 1st and 2nd and Jorge Soler at the plate and 2 out. Perhaps the only team that doesn't want to see that happen *more* than the Cubs is the Mets who I imagine were already planning on where they were all going when their season ends on Sunday. IF the Fish do have to play on Monday I predict former Cub Soler clears the bases with a 3-run HR giving the Marlins a 4 run lead and the Mets go 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 9th to send Miami to the post season.
Why, YES, I *have* been a Cubs fan for a long time, why do you ask? :)

The Mariners continue the perils of Pauline routine with yet another escape at the very last second, before getting run over by a train last night. Three more games. The agony continues, and I'm enjoying every suffering moment. No need for any cardiac stress test. If the Mariners don't kill their fans, nothing will.

Gotta best these guys tonight. Finish it.
Go Braves. Beat:
