Sort of. But Iāll take the Dodgers roster of generally great guys over some of the Yankee players any day. And I wish Cody was wearing anything but pinstripes.Dodgers are getting as bad as the Yankees.
Fixed it for you.Sort of. But Iāll take the Dodgers roster of generally OLD guys over some of the Yankee players any day. And I wish Cody was wearing anything but pinstripes.

Fixing that spending gap means teams, like the Rockies would actually have to reinvest their money into the team, instead of Bank, rolling it into the owners pocketHoly hell, I laughed so hard reading this I could barely breathe.
"It's difficult for most of us owners to be able to do the kind of things that they're doing," Steinbrenner said..."![]()
Yankees' Hal Steinbrenner: Spending like Dodgers 'difficult for most' owners
Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner said it is "difficult" for other teams to keep up with the Dodgers' offseason spending.www.espn.com
A Steinbrenner said this?! The owner of the freakin' YANKEES said this?!?!?!?! The team that outspent everyone else for decades on end? (And probably still could without breaking a sweat?)
I want the payroll gap between teams to be much narrower. But the lack of self-awareness from this guy is truly incredible.
I am so stoked that the Pirates are getting ready to head to Florida for their annual paid vacation to relaxing the sun, Universal Studios, and Marlin fishing. Although we have a new batting coach, the core goals remain. Setting a league records in running up opposing teamsā pitch counts, looking at called third strikes, and tightening purse strings even further. The hope for this season is with a little luck there is a slight possibility, of hovering around a .400 winning percentage, but weāve been cautioned not to be too optimistic.Spring Training Countdown
103 days, but who is counting? The Dodgers are not even home yet. That is fine. When I said it would be a couple of weeks, well, that may have been incorrect.
Time for the hot stove and pathological optimism. This is the year! You all know what I mean.
