Q5 baby.. Black 94 with EMG's... I can't wait. Funny, 5 minutes after I emailed my contact at GC headquarters, GC New Orleans called to put my order through. Oh, I really hope this damn bass was worth it. Excited. I have been wanting a Q5 for a very long time.

The new ones. The current owner says it's the last TBX that left the factory.
Do any of you know what the very newest/last serial number is? My FU4 left the factory in March ('13) and if I remember correctly, my serial # is 120294. I think the newest one I have seen is 120301...?

Well thats what I thought but I didnt see that when just looking at it. You'd think someone trying to sell a bass for that long would be fine with shipping. Odd...

I am not positive, but I think the answer is no. Unless it is just the bass you are looking for or want..

Some of the older ones are garnering a little more with the original Flea 'logo' on the headstock and some people like the Lane Poor pickups as well. And it does seem the four string versions are more popular than five with the Flea model. But... from what I've seen as iriegnome stated there really hasn't been a rhyme or reason (that I've noticed) as to why some are going for more than others, other than what I stated above.
