Modulus Mob

A few posts back, when I posted pics of my Q6, I said it was built in 1993 and had two 3-position switches that switch the two Bartolini soapbars between series/humbucker/parallel. I think I may have been wrong. I recently took the pickups out (just to see their model numbers) and found out they're 82-P46C-B (neck position) and 84-P46C-T (bridge position). I've seen other TB threads that suggest these are quad-coil pickups wired for P/all-coils/Reverse-P. Can anyone here decipher those pickup model numbers and confirm that these are the likely coil configurations? Thanks.

Fellow modulus mobsters, can anyone recommend a good way to clean the dust off of the bridge of a Q5? I figured I'd spend memorial day weekend working on my basses, and the Q5's had a crap-load of dust on the bridge since I got her.
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what the right way is, but I always use canned air spray and a moist q-tip. There's probably a more pro way to do it though.

I'd be careful with the compressed air as it comes out at sub-zero temps and could cause a physical reaction in the strings where they are stressed bending over the saddles. Not likely but could make them brittle, also might not be great on the finish as well.

Personally, I just clean the bridge and everything else when I do a string change using a microfiber cloth. You can also use one of those mini-vacs used to clean out computer keyboards as well on the bridge and other tight spaces if you don't want to change the strings.
