Modulus Mob

I'd be careful with the compressed air as it comes out at sub-zero temps and could cause a physical reaction in the strings where they are stressed bending over the saddles. Not likely but could make them brittle, also might not be great on the finish as well.

Personally, I just clean the bridge and everything else when I do a string change using a microfiber cloth. You can also use one of those mini-vacs used to clean out computer keyboards as well on the bridge and other tight spaces if you don't want to change the strings.

i've done the microfiber, but it doesn't get into some of the tighter spaces. i may give the mini-vac thing a try though. thanks for the input

I am just bubbling waiting for my Sweet Spot to be back so I can give it a whirl. I am looking forward to trying out a Cocobolo fretboard. The wide spacing has me concerned, but since everything I own has very narrow spacing, it should be fun

Maybe you guys can assist me. I have a 2004 Quantum 4. It has Bartolini electronics in it, running at 18v. I'm having trouble getting this bass to cooperate with my effects. Can I leave a battery out and try running this at 9v or should I possibly swap out the electronics?

the bart pre should have a small pot that is adjustable w/a small screwdriver (eye glasses size). Try turning it down or up, whatever is needed.

Want to hear what a 1992 TBX Fretless 5 string with Bart NTMB preamp through an Eden WT400 running an Avatar 2x10 and 1x12 Schroeder *no tweeter) sounds like?

this will stream ~ Here's a song we're rehearsing/jamming. An original by us.

I re-evaluated my decision and realized it would be a mistake to sell it. It sounds amazing, I just need to play it more and get used to the feel of the neck. Here's a pic:

I am definitely leaning towards selling my old Modulus/Alembic Bassstar, but I have no idea how to price it!

It's an all Koa body, graphite neck, ebony fb, and original passive vintage bartolini single coils. Any advice?

Picked this up yesterday after a long search for a replacement Modulus. The bass is in completely mint condition and sounds and plays amazingly.

Before this one I had purchased a quantum 5 off of guitar centers used site, and when it got to me although I was told it was fretted it was a lined fretless so I ended up returning it, eventually I'll give fretless playing a go.
