I ordered a bunch of custom picks with my name from D'Add. Big purple triangle, tortex-like.

I got addicted to the Bog Street Ultem Battle Axe picks recently. I think that they are like $25 for a pack of 6, not cheap by any means. I like them a lot; smallish 1.5mm triangle picks with a grippy zone and a hole in the middle. I don't lose them, so I can justify the cost a bit.
I have not tried that 355 style yet. Wonder if it comes in a 2mm.I've always used the faux-tort Fender 355 heavy triangles.

They can double as throwing stars . . . .
Often though, they can be a little hard to find, so I use the D'Andrea equivalent:

Totally identical to the Fender-branded item, WTH, Fender may be buying them from them
And D'Andrea offers a different version:

D'Andrea's 'Delrex' formula 355, again Identical to their tort brothers, but with that slightly sandy sort of feel that's different from the faux celluloid.
They make just about any pick you can think of, and over the years have always been consistently good. Available through all the usual suspects.

i also have the $25 chris thile pick d’addario makes. i only use it for mandolin but it’s definitely worth the money.
for guitar or bass playing i’ve always loved the classic jazz III.
I have an arsenal of sea shell jazz picks and shields, from a guy that does them custom in Florida---they are really cool looking. The thing I don't like about them is; they are cold to the touch and don't glide very well across the strings--- For some reason, plastics just do it better. Never tried wooden or any other material.View attachment 7087213feels good knowing i’m likely the “winner” (loser?) in this thread.
i have a genuine mammoth ivory pick i think i paid $80 or so for. it’s not useable but its super cool.

Guys don't realize, changing up picks and strings is the easiest mod.Wether I use the thicker or thinner picks depends on what sound and techniques I'm going for.
I like what BHL is doing,---been following him for a couple of years. His picks are the best customs, that I have ever studied. If he made a 346 style, I would definately give him my money.I have several picks from BHL, the most expensive being torlon, just ordered a t2n also just to check it out.

Bought some picks made with bone, antler horn, ebony and Tintul, they were £1.85 each which is about $2.20.
