Looks interesting, about the size of a 25¢ quarter.
2.75 mm

Most expensive picks i've bought are the 1.3 triangle dunlop primetones. I forgot the price at the time of purchase but I bought them cause I got one in a sample pack and i liked the option of having a brighter pick tone than most tortex/delrin/acetal picks. Usually use fingers though and when i pick I use the .71 gator grips most often.

I’m in the most expensive group only because I also play mandolin, and the pick makes a huge difference (especially without amplification), so I nerded out; and the one I like most can be purchased with a logo (or farm/ranch brand for me), and they make great gifts for the people who want to buy you nice things, but don’t know what to get. It’s a ToneSlabs 1.3 Darth Tone FS (which is almost identical in size to the next two). Full triangle Fender Heavies and Tortex 1mm +, at the low end of the spectrum, work just fine for me on bass. If I just played bass, I’d be in whichever category fits those two and others like them. The TS is smooth, but the PEI material sticks to the fingers, which is a really nice bonus that seems to be addressed by other shapes and textures in other ways mentioned above. I only use them because I already have a couple around and one in the wallet at all times, and they work great. Through an amp, I don’t notice major tonal differences.

PrimeTones are similar to what I use for a lot less money, though a little less sticky in the smooth, and I don’t love the textured. I would still use The smooth if not for the gift thing.

OTOH, the cheapest pick is Brian May's sixpence. I can use a 5-jiao Chinese coin (similar to a sixpence both in value and construction), but I also play guitar with a 1-yuan coin, which sounds similar but is sized more like a regular pick.

I once gave a (now ex) buddy an uncirculated 2001 Sacajawea coin, and he proceeded to destroy both it and his guitar strings using it as a pick, then came back to me to complain about it. Sheesh.

The most expensive picks I've bought were Manouche(gypsy jazz) picks.
about $35.00 each.

Really liking this Gravity 3 mm Razer too.

Sharp with a polished bevel. Super fast for sweep-picking and brings a deep, fat tone.

Might have been about $10?

Gravity is doing a 30% off sale too:
