Saw this at the bottom of a NAMM email blast:

Building your own Music Man bass is now a reality! The Ernie Ball Music Man Custom Design Experience will allow customers to design a factory-built StingRay bass with customized options. Build your own custom bass your way, available online spring 2024.

I am super excited about this announcement! I'm hoping it is more similar to G&L Build to Order than Fender's Mod Shop. Either way, this sounds like a EBMM is moving in the right direction.

Probably not, since they opened their online store to worldwide a year or so ago. It used to be US only before but not anymore.

I'm assuming this'll be like 4k and the customization will mostly be for the colors of things. I hope I'm wrong. A Stingray special with alnico and 2 band options would be exciting. Though I'd still prefer a Sterling with those options.
