Got the PDN today, gonna install the clear pickguard when it comes in tomorrow

Ha! Joeykun - I see we have similar tastes in basses - At least when it comes to Stingrays and Sadowskys.

I have a Stingray Classic BFR arriving via the big brown truck tomorrow. Guess I'll get to join another club on TB as of tomorrow evening.

Installed it and it looks fairly interesting. I'm not sure I really prefer one or the other but I think I'll keep it this way since it's such a pain to swap out lol. I didn't realize there were little plastic thingies in between the pots and pickguard so I had to do it twice. Also I don't play out so the shielding is not so important for me. I'd forgotten there was a dummy coil so that surprised me as well. It would be really awesome if MM started selling them as HSS models with a switch or two so you could get some really fancy sounds.

Anyway nobody cares about that, here are the pictures:

Interesting. I thought they stacked the phantom coil. Looks pretty good though!
