Music Man Stingray: What comes to mind?

Overall, slight disappointment (a bit of an impulse buy, I'm afraid).
I love my Stingray 4, 3 band EQ as a great bass to play. And build quality is terrific. I have the translucent orange finish, it looks superb. The neck is an absolute dream. But the tone has never quite worked for me in a gig situation, and it does suffer a little from SR4 weak G syndrome. So, it gets played at home, but doesn't get out much these days.

Nick Beggs of 80's band Kajagoogoo, with an all natural and maple neck stingray, strapped really high and slapping on the tune, "Too Shy".
^ I though he used a Wal Pro for Too Shy? If so it wouldn't be the last time a Ray got the credit from a Wal.
