To BA lovers...i had BA4's in both maple and rosewood and recently sold my rosewood. Now thinking i prefer rosewood, so just putting out there the idea of trading my black/black pg w/maple board for a rosewood.
I can send pics if someone wants to consider it. thanks!

Aw man, Now I feel bad I bought your Rosewood. :(
It was cool meeting ya though. Thanks for the Al, and waiting 2 weeks till my Boston trip materialized!!
Got home from the Boston trip at 2am this morning
Still scratching my head which pick guard to use? :eyebrow:
I hope to snap some pics of the Al sometime through the week this week to share with the B.A. Club.

Likewise Sir, no regrets. We are all blessed to have to chance to play and own (many) great instruments, so its all for a purpose..its all gravy

Not sure if the Big Al "Club" hands out numbers or not?
But if it does, pass one my way please :)

Here is the Big Al I picked up on Friday.
This is a pic by the seller with the White Pearloid just placed on top of the glossy black one.
I have now installed the White, gave her a good coat of wax...peeled off the stickers and put a few hours on her....
Gotta say, NOW I KNOW what all you guys are talking about.
These Big Al SSS basses are the SHI&^%$#@ for sure...
Will try to take some additional pics soon.

Way outta my price range, but these are my favorite MM basses I've ever played. Super cool looking as well. Hot. I actually think the body/pickguard style is among the coolest to come down the pike in decades.

I've been in the market to buy a new bass for a while and haven't played anything like the Al. This is the perfect bass for me...and out of my price range as well. Guess I'll have to buy something else to keep me occupied.

Jason!... kinda funny. I bought my 1st Big Al from "stflbn" and now after trading with you I've got a white one exactly like the one he bought to replace the one he sold to me : )

I may have to try some Chromes on "Whitie!"

As for the pickguard, you can always let Mr. Sharpie camouflage the edge of your BWB pickguard. Then order up an all black one from "Jeannie" JEANNIE PICKGUARDS HOME PAGE

or "Pickguard Heaven" [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
