My MM HS. Man, I love that bass! This is a shot during a video shoot for the Heart tribute band Little Queen; from the looks of where my hand is, I'd guess that's the chorus in Barracuda. So please sign me up for the MM club!

That IS a smokin' looking bass!
Interestingly enough my '95 Stingray has the transition bridge with just dome head screws instead of the mutes. I've been trying to chase down the mute plate and thumbscrews for some time but have had no luck.But if EB is producing basses with the early bridge I am hoping that they will be making the mute setup available to retro-fit my bass.

Well I spent a lot of time playing solo over the holiday. I love the tone and feel of this bass, (the one in my avatar) especially the neck.
Playing by myself, I much prefer the two single coil positions, but I will be interested to see how the humbuckers sound in a band setting.
I am a Music Man convert. All the basses posted in this thread are very classy.

How would you guys compare these two basses? I own a SR5 H, but there is a nice-looking 55-02 for sale. Problem is, it is too far from me to go test it, I should buy it blindfold. Is it similar in sound, does it have that "bite" the Stingrays have?
I play rock/metal, with a pick through the Bassdriver and Ampeg SVT 410HLF - just to give you an idea, where I'm aiming for.
