What sort of strings you've got on this one? They look pretty shiny (or perhaps it's just light in the picture).
The ones in the picture were DR Sunbeams. I've got DR Fatbeams on it at the moment.
I was actually planning to give Sunbeams a go when I restring my SR next time. May I ask why you switched to Fatbeams?

I've had Marcus Miller Fatbeams once and liked the sound a lot. Also I noticed the gain went through the roof, they are obviously very magnetic. Too bad the strings were inconsistent - G and D were noticeably quieter then the rest. I took them down and went back to GHS Boomers. Obviously I just got a bad set, I should give them a go again perhaps.
Here's my '88 Ray in the front. I bought it new from a drummer who decided he didn't want to play bass for $500 in 1988. Since then, I've logged 3,000 + gigs with it - best deal I've ever made and one of the best all-around basses I've ever played. The manufacture date was 8/8/88, it must have some special mojo.

It reminds me so much of my own SR5, also very extensively gigged and with the mojo goin' on too!

She's a 1989 model and just about to celebrate her 20th birthday.
I changed the guard from the white to a white pearl some years ago.
I have just received my very first MusicMan. It is a 2008 BFR Stingray 4 HH with Mahogany neck and a Redwood top.
When I first saw these on ebay last year, I was toast. It struck me as the most beautiful bass I had ever seen. Never having played a Ray, I went right down to the local GC and tried them out. Definitely my cup of tea. So as I was trying to rationalize the expense, I found an awesome used 5 string Alembic Europa, which became my 25th wedding anniversary present. No regrets, I also have a 4 string Epic, and I'm a believer, I have drunk the Alembic koolaid.
Still, every once in a while I would see a picture, and I would have to catch my breath. Last week I saw this in the TB classifieds, sealed the deal in a day, and put new strings on it tonight.
So far, when I look at it, I start to salivate, it makes my brain think that there is food there. I want to lick it like an ice cream cone, it looks that delicious in person.
I am totally blown away by the tone of one coil from each pup. My fav so far. I can't wait to jam with this bass.
I can't believe I forgot to shoot the headstock!
This one will go mano a mano with any of my other instruments.

I've been outta the loop for a while. Lemme do some investigating about what these go for. Are you in a hurry? I mean, I don't want to sound wishey washey or anything but I'm not sure if I'm ready to sell this yet.
