Yes and it kicks all sorts of a$$! But I wonder when you're going to get rid of it! :hiding: :ninja: :D lol I wish Fromel offered some other effects (a delay would be sick). I sold some pedals recently, so I've got some $$ burning a hole in my pocket... Unfortunately, I don't think I'd use any of the other effects he currently offers. :hmm:

Okay, back to Stingrays.... sorry.

I got a question here....

does anybody know why musicman replace the pickguard material for the older stingray '9x (black matte -not glossy) with the new ones (cheap -very scratchable- plastic)??...

get me confuse here....for years that I've been saving to buy a stingray that look like Flea does with those unscratchable -in my mind- pickguard, and after I have the budget, all I get is three ply cheap plastic....:(

still....love the ray...

Hey guys

Im about to order a Stingray 5 after thinking about it for ages and trying other manufacturers (and being disappointed).

Ive decided on HS, as the new Ray 5s H do not have a single coil option anymore. The has all the options I like :)

Its going to be either Vintage Sunburst/Rosewood/Tort or White/Rosewood/Tort.

I cannot decide which hahahah.

Any pics to help?!

I'm a sucker for a sunburst/tort bass. And EB's sunbursts are some of the nicest out there.

But this one just knocks my socks off.:bassist:

I might have to unsubscribe from this thread for a bit... its making me miss my EBMM..

I had to send my MM back to San Luis Obispo, CA to have them look at it. If I put the the perfect relief on the E side, the G side has 4.5mm behind the G string with 2.4mm behind the E. If I put the perfect amount of relief on the G side, its got a slight back bow on the E side. A straight edge confirms and its not the bridge needing adjusted.

I hope I get it back and its fixed, not just onced over as a 'setup' job. I know how to do a setup and have all of the proper tools for it. I guess if they say there is nothing wrong i'll just order a new neck while I'm on the phone with them.

I seem to be plagued by oddball issues with necks recently (2 out of the last 3 basses I bought new had severe neck issues).
