Hey Mike,
I remember when you got that beauty. It was right around the same time you got your B-100R. I remember because we both got 'rays and that killer combo at about the same time.
Unfortunately, I no longer own the same 'ray and had to learn the hard way that I can't live without one, so I replaced it.
Still have my B-100R though and 'rays still sound killer through it:bassist: Boy, i've been hanging around here way to long:ninja::smug:

Yeah, I remember getting my Stingray, (2001) and then buying my B100R mainly because you and Brad Johnson recommended it so highly. You guys were 100% right; it is a great amp.

I still own it, although I lent it to a guitar-playing friend's band over 2 years ago, and they're still using it. I go and visit it every once in a while. :D

I now have a Hughes & Kettner 250watt 1x10 combo which sounds very close to a B100R, but cleaner. The H&K can sound like a B100R or like a little SVT depending on how you set the controls.

Yes, Ray, we've both been hanging around here for a long time, but this just proves what a great site Talkbass is.

Time for me to renew my Gold Supporting membership. ;)

It's good talking to an old friend, Ray. :)
