Can't wait to try this one.. I've been ver6 happy with mxr stuff. I've had the envelope filter. and currently have the bass octave deluxe. . Im try happy with this pedal.. And the guys in My hiphop band love the tones i get from it..

The M82 can get pretty synthy.

In any case, I am a big MXR fan and my old Bass Auto-Q is by far the funkiest pedal I have owned in my 25+ years of playing. It consistently blows any bass synths I try off my board. Great pedal. No idea why it was discontinued. I guess the M82 replaced it.

Are the bass/treble controls shelving like the M80? When left flat how does it compare to the M80 as preamp DI? For anyone who has heard it and tried it

Sounds like my eden but without the built in comp and in a smaller footprint from the description you gave here

Can you get a dirty sound from the Eden pre? I've always been curious about that and wanted to try it.. A Di and comp. And a decent price..
