My ex is a lying cheating whore

Another guy with an ex-wife due to her cheating checking in.

It's friggin horrible, but worse than me finding out he cheated was trying to "work things out and stay married" when she ha no intention of changing her ways. What a horrible roller coaster to be on... Just walk away and file for divorce. Cheaters are always gonna cheat. Don't listen to her lies and pleadings, she'll do it again if you stay together.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life... Be grateful! Get some therapy and work past it. You CAN. It's gonna hurt for a while but you will love and trust again if you allow yourself to. Hang with your buddies, enjoy the single life for a while, I know I did... And I'm not talking about banging a bunch of random girls... I took motorcycle trips, spent lots of time on hobbies, played in two bands.

Forget her.

I'm kinda bummed there are so many here with the similar disappointment. Tragic.
Be strong, brothers. & sisters.

Chuck, don't be bummed. Divorce rates are sky high. It stands to reason that it would be the same rate outside of marriage.

One thing I note in everyone's anecdotal evidence around their failed relationships is that the woman often interferes with their "after" life. They mess with you, leave you and still try to be part of you. It's weird how many seem to do it to guys.

You have to make a clean break. You have to ignore any communication attempts from them. You have to live life on your terms and that should never include a person that just out and out betrays your trust, dumps on your emotions and then tries to wiggle back in saying they realize their mistakes.

A lot of anecdote here says the same thing: a woman can't stand it when an ex-beau moves on with his life and is happy without her. Drives them crazy. It's weird how often men relate the same story. Meddling exes. They burn you and don't just disappear. They want to still control us or something. Get lost already! I'll speculate that they want to keep an open option that they view as a safe bet if the new deal doesn't work out: 'If I stay in touch I can always get him back, he loves me; just look at how messed up he is over me'.

Yeah, once they actually step out of your door, it's best just to close it behind them and never answer it when they knock. It time to do the things that you love to do, unhindered for a while.

Mine too. Pretty much same scenario. Plus while she used to be so smoking hot that I cannot begin to describe it, she is now fat, broke and alcoholic. The last time I talked to her was about 13 years ago.

My current wife ( of 12 years) is also smoking hot, brilliant and decidedly NOT a lying, cheating whore. She is, as all of them are, however a b**ch. lol

I hear you man thanks for the encouragement.
I had a long talk w my best friend last night & he had a similar perspective to yours and Maki's somewhat: he said he envies me because I get a new girl all the time. I'm going to do my thing and not because of her, but for me & those I support. And I have a new business venture starting up too selling art on the West Coast & NYC. New apt. I have a lot of support from my friends at church too. Things are better already.
