My ex is a lying cheating whore

I tend to lack fiscal self control at strip clubs. Last time I went I was pulling this girl's hair, I asked her to fake one for me.
I'm actually old fashioned i like the hunt. I eat what I kill. But I don't feel like dating right now nor attending this perfumed gymnasium of delight.
Truth is I just want to go to church & get off the ride.

Sorry... But never waste a moment wishing you were with somebody that didn't want to be with you... When I left my x. I could only take what I could fit in my car, couple years later, after court. And such. Four empty bass cases were returned to me... My beloved guild B301, my 84 ric. With alembic electronics and pickups, and 2 gibson explorers, one with a original kahler whammy.. Were missing in action. ... She said the cases were always empty... That stung

That's horrible.

It would be hard for me to stay out of prison after that.

This is like a game of tag and...guess what...you're no longer "it"!

There's a Yiddish word pronounced "bursk" which, in one word, pretty much ties up centuries of wisdom. Loosely translated, it means "...as painful as things seem, it's for the better and will become evident in time."

Damn, we really do need a club of TBers who have had a spouse cheat on them. Same here, happened a year ago, this week actually......damn.....anyway things for us were in a terrible place. Her affair actually reignited some passions we forgot we had, but in the end were not enough. The divorce became final in April. I could say a lot of nasty things about her, there is still a lot about her that drives me nuts, but I won't. For one, and this is personally, it doesn't really help. Just has me wallow in misery and become more depressed.

The other is because I try to be very careful about what I say in any kind of forum that can be dug up and attributed to me later. So if your in this situation, and if you still have legel issues pending, or if children are involved (where legal issues could crop up at any time) be extremely careful when venting online. Particularly Facebook and Twitter, but also on places like TB. These comments can be attributed to you and presented in court. Just saying, be mindful.

Chuck, I can say is that I fully understand. An affair is not something that is insurmountable to your marriage. My parents are an unfortunate testament to that. But it is extremely destructive. Judging from your comments, and my own personal experience, the trust that remained is gone. And without trust you have no possibility for a real relationship. Get better my friend, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

'Harbouring resentment is like drinking poison and hoping the other person suffers'

Edit : not my quote...the identity of the author is still in debate. ;)

There is a similar quote I like as well... "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned."

(unless youre wearing thermal gloves, I guess).

Both quotes often misattributed to Buddha.

"There's no revenge like a life well-lived."

...and I wish you Brits would quit sticking "u" where it doesn't belong. Must be a vowel surplus in the UK. Everybody have a great weekend!
