We could easily say that "Guitarists are failed bassists who couldn't groove!" lol. Seriously...every one of my guitarist friends who tries to play my bass ends up sound atrocious because they don't have any groove to their playing. Not to mention they just play the root notes of the guitar part on some guitar-driven song and think they are boss....it's very hard to keep a straight face


But yeah, dump her dude. In all seriousness, it's quite evident she doesn't respect you if she'd say something like that in front of other people. Tell her to go look for someone shallow with little brain capacity, then recommend looking for a guitarist

A deliberate negative comment made in public about something I am? We'd be split before she could finish her next sentence- she wouldn't even get a ride home. If she'd said it in jest, the OP would have gotten that message and not started this thread. But a good woman (a woman worth loving) doesn't mock her man's craft anyhow, in any way.

I freely admit that part of it's just me- I don't even know what it's like to be so whipped that I have to ask an internet forum for advice when I can simply cancel the future with one woman and find a replacement within hours.

I just googled "ken by request only". In case you hadn't done it yourself, there's a funny story behind it, and it appears that the guy himself is pretty cool with the uncoolness of the cover.
