Yep, that's definitely the same make. Fretless too :cool:

Looks like they're just mass produced somewhere in Europe and then sold out through different dealers under their own name. Looks like that one might have different electronics too. Maybe an active/passive switch there? I don't know any German...

Hm .. I was checking out some of his other 6's and 7's .. and I saw something laong the lines of this in one of them...

"Antonasiaa (Tony) is a master inlay artist and luthier."
(sorry for my lazy ignortancy of spelling his name)

So, maybe he's Tony. I can totally see how and why he got Tony out of Antoniasia.

man, looks cool. but, still shaky to me.
and you have amazing chops. clean, fine clean player. great sound out of that bass. But, you play real clean man .. got your feel for the music. :D

Yeah, real good man.

I like how the high C string (12th fret up, pretty much) has it's somewhat guitar qualities and but with a bassier/deeper sound. So, it works very well soloistically..or hell in a band too i guess .. but you always have those, true and pure bass strings to completely blow guitar out of the water. :P

I'm seriously considering getting one of these, I've been gassing for an ERB for awhile but the only option in Australia is to get them from the US. Basically the cheapest option is AU$3000+ so these look right up my alley, works out to be just over $1000 with postage, although there might be import taxes and such.

So has anyone else bought one of these? is there anything really horrible, or just the minor issues such as pickup route and finish to worry about?

i havent seen a 7 string yet though

The only real issues I have with it is that the fretwork isn't the best (which I expected anyways). Simmilar to the SX Jazz I had for a while. The headstock is huge, so it's pretty neck heavy. And on mine the action on the highest two strings isn't quite as low as I'd like it, especially up higher. But I like my action/tension much lower than the average bassist anyways. Also, I have it strung up BEADGCF right now, with the C and F strings being a different brand, so maybe that's it.

I've been having problems with my home internet connection, but once it comes back up I've got another soundclip to upload. Solo this time :bassist:
