Thanks! Working on it. Not quite at the finish line just yet, but I’m hoping to be there in the next couple months. Mostly driven by my tax return finishing out the furnishings (new desk, controller, sub, new drums, etc.)

My Taylor acoustic is the wisest instrument I own, and it fits perfectly in the bays between the treatment panels. If it doesn’t resonate problematically while loud things are happening it can live there. If not it’ll stay in its case in the vestibule until it’s needed.

All ten of the hangers are up. My Jazz will occupy the space next to the Stingray when it’s back from the shop.

Gotcha on the pricing, thanks for the estimate. With a contractor it’s edsentially another mortgage/home. Pretty crazy, I think yours looks great and the costs savings are huge. I would have done the same thing.

In Seattle that’s nowhere near a mortgage. Without getting into too many details, my relatively modest but nice home is worth more than ten times the estimated contractor cost that I mentioned earlier. Prices are trending down for the first time in years, but they won’t fall to a point commensurate with the majority of the country. We’re paying LA and NY prices here now.

I’m just doing small tasks right now, so it’s no biggie. The last “big”projects are the vestibule shelves and the HRV baffle boxes. I’ll probably get to those in February.
