My Situation

Here's a another for the bank

Seriously I feel your pain, getting dumped by your 1st love is damn hard.
But who on this forum knows ANYONE who is older than 18 and is still with the girl they knew since they were 13? I would venture to say nobody. these days people have multiple partners before they even consider marriage. you're supposed to date more than one person in your life. trust us folks with more experience with this than you, there are better women out there and you deserved to be treated better than she treated you. it's better to move on than hang on, especially when she's trying to step on your fingers as you dangle from the side of the building.

you're obviously still a mess at this point. don't worry about getting with other chicks yet, go hang out with a few guy friends and have fun and get your mind off of her. someone else will come along before too long, you can count on that. life is going to throw a lot of ups and downs at you the sooner you can learn to adapt that much better off you will be.

I said she uses a baby wipe when she goes to the bathroom. OFMGZ BIG SEKRT!!!

And I hope one day a girl breaks your heart like mine so I can laugh in your face and call you a pussy.

Been there, done that! But I didn't cry about it, I grabbed freedom by the testicles and surrendered myself to the ways of fate and fortune, rather than sitting in my room weeping! The sooner you pick yourself up, accept that you're not going to save things now and move on, the better. Thats what everyone here is telling you, and it really is the best advice.

Oh, you liked it.

Loved it man, loved it!

I highly doubt your situation was as harsh as mine but im not gonna compare boo boo's to make myself feel better and just take your word for it.

You may think your ex is "perfect", but that's because she's the only thing you know.

*DING* Winner! :)

+1 on everything that Jive said.

Getting your heart ripped out takes time to heal. Been there, done that - most of us have. Now is the time for you to find out what makes you tick. Find your own identity based on you, not based on someone else.

I spent most of my adult life with one person (from 18-32), and was absolutelty shattered when she decided that she didn't want to be with me any more (ex-wife, ex-friend, ex-house...a story for another time). The following phase of my life included a lot of soul-searching and figuring out what I wanted out of life. I learned a lot about myself and what really mattered. I also had a great time being single and able to do what I wanted when I wanted to do it. I found love again without really looking for it, and am now happily married.

My point is, this is not the end of your life, just a phase that will shape your future. Accept it, and move along. You have a giant future in front of you.

Whoa, chill out there, friendo! YOU are the one who laid out his ultimate heartbreak here for everyone on TB to see. Then, when people are basically bombarding you with nothing but good sense, great advice, and support (in the form of Jive's gut, no less!), you single out one and attack him based solely on the fact that "he's your age and therefore has no right to tell you how to live your life"? That's a total dick move, right there.

Dude has a point, too. You've just revealed to a group of complete strangers about her pube-grooming and the fact that after a numero dos, she busts out the baby wipes. Not only is that too much information, but a pretty clear indicator that you're not really up to snuff on the social graces. And you're wondering why she broke up with you? Surely this kind of behaviour can't be exclusive to talkbass.

The mere fact that you just said "I doubt your situation was as harsh as mine" leads me to conclude that if this is in fact your mindset, you're clearly not close to mature enough to even consider being involved in a long-term relationship at this point in your life. As if your tragedy is somehow worse than anyone elses... that idea, my dear boy, is completely laughable.

Dudes came in here to be cool to you, and you pissed it right back in their faces. You're only miserable because you want to be, R Kelly. Man up and cope.
