Namm 2009: Orange Tiny Terror Bass Amp?

I'm really thinking about it...what do you think about this head with just a MarkBass Traveler 102p for small and medium size gigs? Will it be enough?

Basically I have been using an Ashdown Electric Blue 180w combo until last Saturday that I got it killed :) while playing the last song on a wedding... I can actually say that it has been doing the job...there was only a couple of times that I was wishing for more power... for the price I was very happy...now...if I put together the Terror Bass head with the Markbass cab it will be almost £1000 and I'm not sure if the difference will be worth it.

By the way...I imagine that in some bigger venues the cab won't be enough but I was thinking in those cases to use the 12" speaker from my ashdown...the head died but I think the speaker will be fine...

What do you guys think?

i tweet this thread as a reply to orangeampsAR (twitter nickname of the official Orange Amps Twitter page)

this is what they answered.

orangeampsAR I wouldn't say soon. 6 months? RT: @Xquadra: @orangeampsAR Tiny Bass Terror 1000 Invalid Link Removed is that really coming out soon?

that link is this threads first page

:ninja:

Ive tested all three SP cabs and the Bass Terror at Orange HQ. Bass Terror is awesome, the SP cabs are SO loud its unreal, for their size. I have standard orange cabs, but the SP212 is fantastic for its size.

Even though its guitar related, the Dual Terror is also very very good.

I just caved and pre-ordered mine. I e-mailed orange last month and they were hoping for it to be ready within these coming weeks.

With their oh-so-confident "hope it will be ready" I'm guessing they'll be around sometime in October.

Can't wait.
