The Amp is shipping in september, it has one 12 Ax7 tube in the pre amp. It's going to be made in china.

Humbucker Music has the Bass Tiny Terror available for preorder. $819.00 USD. IMHO, I think it's a little too expensive. I'd be more impressed if it were in the same price range as a Tiny Terror.....$549.00 USD. Linky:

Just found out that the Terror bass has a switch on the side to allow 500 watts output at either 4 and 8 ohms.

My guess is you were looking at the all tube Tiny Terror guitar amp, with the standard output impedance switch for tube amps. The bass amp is solid state, and unless its a very unusual design, would only put out its full wattage into 4ohms, not 8.

It has a class D power section with a tube preamp. I wonder how it will compare to Markbass, Genz, etc. who also offer similar products at similar power ratings.
