27 pages and zero GAS for me so far. Some like the ESPs are beautiful, but not really my cup of tea, at least to spend actual money on to own.

I was at the show for 3 1/2 days. I took zero pictures and played all of 4 basses, one of which was in the booth I was "working" in. OTOH, I was completely hoarse by 4PM the first day and probably will stay that way for at least a few days longer. And it was totally worth it given how many cool people I got to interact with. Good times. Thanks to all the TBers who stopped by and said hi.

So I hear Fodera didn’t have a booth this year. I’m guess Alleva Coppolo didn’t either. Too bad! Both great builders!

I tried to get over to your booth for the Vic Wooten set but that was nuts even by NAMM standards. You obviously saw what we were dealing with over there next to marching band percussion world...sheesh!

I didn't get a photo to contribute, but I now see what all you Atelier Z fans are on about. I played a beautiful sonic blue 5 that was a fantastic bass, really as nice as anything.

The ESP exotics were in the $12k - $15k range.

Mann! I get tired of Namm just by looking at the photos. Its a huge guitar center, but louder =& more crowded, yeah its cool seeing the New stuff& the ocassional star. but... No one will talk to you unless your wearing a "buyer" badge. you'll get no love at all wearing a regular name tag. only if they're really bored or nobody is in their booth. Once i was talking to a presenter/sales guy, & during our conversation he glances at my badge, mid sentence he just leaves! felt like a flat chested girl at a frat party! Don't get me wrong its the place to be if you're in the market for some new gear, but you'll quickly get tired of it.(remember Gibson skippiing the show a few years back?I didn't blame them)
I remember standing in a huge disney like line just to get into the Gibson & fender Rooms . Only to be ignored & annoyed. I felt like I walked the entire mall at Xmas time. I was exhausted!!Sorry to rain on your parade, but that was my experience.I always balk when asked if i wanna go this year. sorry again
