+1. Even the HH and HS models are quite tight for popping. It's doable, but you have to stay on target. I wouldn't personally consider those "slap-friendly" depending on one's technique and how flashy they want to get. The ones listed in the picture above would be even more troublesome.
Well, the Bongos are tight due to the extra frets, but there is a decent amount of room on the nonBongo two pickup basses. But I know a few people who can slap on an double hummer Bongo with no problem. I think if one really like the sound though they could put the time in to adapt their technique.
I don't slap though, so I had no problem ordering a Big Al thankfully
