NBD!!!!!!! 11 String Multiscale Extended Range Prometeus Bass! (Extended-Range Content)

The body shape is called namor. It comes in two versions, a fishtail (like mine) or a spike. All of his designs can be made into a single cut shape. So that's what mine is.
Oh awsome. This is the kind of thing I've been interested in, especially since moving to a 6 string and playing a lot of tapping. May I ask what application you have in mind for the two lowest strings? I've always wondered what I would even do with a sub low B, the higher ones are a bit easier to imagine with guitar like chording and such.

I'd highly recommend it, it's been nothing but gravy since I received it.
The low strings will become my tonic or dominant notes for my chordal playing. It's not horribly difficult to play chords on the "bass" end of the instrument. I'm aiming for some of that full church organ chordal playing. It's something I've always liked.

It has two truss rods to deal with the added tension of the strings.

The four string is my squier 70s jazz. It's intention will be session playing. I've been playing on my fretless for so many years, it was nice to have a fretted bass again.

wow! even tho in My OPINION again just my "OPINION" & one more time just to be CLEAR im not bashing on you or your dream Bass in any way! its just an "OPINION" that anything after 6 strings is more of a show piece on Bass especially when it come to the higher notes ! but I must admit it does sound amazing!! very kool looking too!! you should point out for people to check out videos with head phones as I did it makes all the difference in the world! those LLLOOWWW/LLLOOOWWW notes!! are incredibly deep and clear! congrats dude enjoy that Beast!!

I will admit right up front that I would never have one of those - I have trouble with a 6 srting guitar, for god's sakes - but, purely in the quest for enlightenment - why 11 strings?? As opposed to, say, 12? Please enlighten this poor old Rockabilly 4 string player...:)
