NBD: 1956 Gibson EB-1

btw I notice the neck end strap button on your EB1 is on the body above the neck.
Mine is on the underside of the neck, which tilts the bass away from me, so I can't see the fretboard. I've also seen EB1s where the button is on the back of the neck.
How do you find your bass hangs in case it's worth me changing the position of the button on mine?

The bass hangs/balances perfectly. If you're not happy with the way it hangs, I'd certainly recommend it.
