Yes, they did. Mine did not come with the original stick/end-pin but as Chef mentioned it wouldn't be too hard to make one. I think I'll just stick to using a strap though.

I think I actually owned this bass about 15-20 years ago. The wear on the back and especially the nick in the "f-hole" are just like the one I had. I bought that bass from Mike Z, a great local Boston player. It was a very sweet instrument. In any event, you are a lucky man.
Hi RickC, it's definitely possible! Especially with how few of these there are floating around out there, I wouldn't be surprised if it was your old bass.

If you were in Georgia I'd let you inspect it yourself to see if it is in fact your old one.
