Ohhh cool! That sounds interesting...pic?Nice.
I have one of the LPB ones. The single coil just didn't do it for me so I routed it for a split coil and made a pick guard to fit.

Did you have to router the neck pocket to fit the Cabronita neck or was it a straight fit?I've got 2 and love em both! The lpb one has a Quarter Pounder, Fender Cabronita neck and bridge, the gold one hasn't been futzed with much and is just dandy as is. Much badassery in them basses, I'm sure you'll like yours!View attachment 670620 View attachment 670621
Dropped right in, no gap...easy peasey.Did you have to router the neck pocket to fit the Cabronita neck or was it a straight fit?
I just set it up and it's great. No issues at all really. It's heavy and it's awkward to anchor my thumb on this kind of pickup, but it sounds great.
I didn't know that but it makes sense. It doesn't feel like I'm pressing my thumb against something strong enough to take the pressure over time. You probably already know this, but be careful with your thumb. These pickups weren't designed to have people resting their thumbs on them. I have the chrome cover and find it very comfortable to rest my thumb on it. On the other hand, Dusty Hill has been doin it for years, so do what you want. Beautiful bass, btw!

There you go, without the holes: (now, that looks nice)
I went to Sam Ash to replace my recently deceased vox amplug and this followed me out.

Used but in mint condition. Not much to say about it. It's a pretty straight forward bass. I've never had a single coil p like this. The setup is crap so I'll see how it sounds later.
