I saw that exact model in GC over the weekend and was tempted to snatch one up. As you mentioned, they're really well priced right now for some reason (the one I saw was priced right around $475).
Love that color with he tort guard (looks even better in person, IMO).

That is my favorite color and there is a lot of mojo epoxied into the tort swirls designed for time release over the next 29 years. A little publicized fact.

Man I love that color. I had a 99-00 MIA jazz in that color with white pearliod pickgaurd. I traded it for an envy green stingray in 04. I might just have to go check my GC. I have a thing for green basses.

yes., nice bass, dark tort pickguard, I got one and just put in a set of EMG Geezers. Yes, you will notice the difference, but you might wait a bit because it was a present and you shouldn't show disrespect to the wife. Wait a year and slide the Geezers in there.

Nice! Looks just like the LPB p-bass I picked up on Craigslist awhile ago, but it looks like the Ocean Turquoise is a bit brighter. $475 is a helluva deal for a brand new Fender.

The title says it all, my wife picked up this beauty at Guitar Center for my birthday. (On sale)

Ocean Turquoise is a great color. Plays great. Just a quick cell phone pic,, I'll do more this afternoon if the sun comes out.

I have been wanting one of these for about a month after playing one at GC one Saturday morning. I like everything about it. I think it was selling for $549 so this lower price makes it even more desireable. Congrats on the new bass (and cool wife!)

I like it alot. Just tossed some DR Highbeams on her and she really sings.

The Ocean Turquoise is a tough finish to capture. It wants to photograph too blueish.
