Missouri almost got Georgia. So far there's no clear-cut #1 this season.
I was paying attention to the Mariners. The Huskies lost. Good thing for playoff baseball. I don't mind that Washington has a new head coach and will have growing pains for a bit. There is another week of baseball in Seattle, minimum.
Since the BCS started in 1998, only one member school has never had a losing season. Any idea who that school is?

This could go over three threads but I'd be throwing things if I typed part of this three times. My beloved alma mater Sooners endured the worst embarrassment Texas has ever handed us. My Cards got swept by the Phillys and my Dolphins now have two QBs in concussion protocol and got beat by one of the worst teams in the AFC. I'm so thankful that I'm off tomorrow and I can buy alcohol.
I'd never seen this before, but I get the feeling we'll see it a lot more form now on. It was a very smart decision to call fair catch on an onside kick!

Well, it looks like UCLA is for real...darn it.
Both the Bruins and my Trojans have tough road tests coming up - after a bye week, UCLA is at Oregon, and USC is at Utah this coming Saturday.

I was paying attention to the Mariners and also didn't notice that Yale played Dartmouth. Or that Yale won.
My boys won again. Didn’t look pretty though and I’m not really sure how good they really are. Time will tell as PSU is next up.

I don't even know why they bother with rankings so early. We don't start finding out how good and how bad teams really are until around this time of year.
This is at least something the BCS got right, not releasing rankings until November.

Iowa has an excellent defense but absolutely no offense. I'll take Michigan seriously if they beat Penn State.
Of course, no one's taking my Gators seriously, and rightfully so.
