NCAA Football

YIKES!

That was way too close in The Swamp. Way too close. A win is a win, but not in the BCS. I'll bet the Gators drop a spot after Texas lays a butt whippin' on Kansas State.

I was glad to see Auburn and Cal get taken out of the picture. I sure hope Arkansas holds on and beats Tennessee.

This should make for a really good Ohio State - Michigan game!!

+1! this match up always brings out the best in both teams, and with the right to play for the title on the line and all the media hype building it up..... its going to be a war! i only wish it was at the big house this year :D . either way its a great year for the big ten to have to teams in two bcs games!

Allow myself to quote myself.... :D

WOW! I can't believe Kansas State put the beatdown on Texas. The final score does not reflect what happened.

That clears the path for all the pretenders to play the OSU/Michigan winner in the title game. Well, USC is still hanging around. As long as Florida wins out, they're in!!

The amazing thing is this is like the One hundred and fifty thousandth time MI played OH state and this is the first time they've ever been number one verse number two! Very cool! I think it will a great game. I honestly think Ohio States a better team because of Troy Smith, But MI has the best front seven I've ever seen on a college defense with four legitimate NFL first rounders and lots of speed.

Bucky now 10-1, possibly Capital One Bowl bound vs perhaps Tennessee?

the game really exposed us, i think. although we have a real shot at the national championship, other teams deserve it more.

I have to regretfully agree. The Gators looked weak on defense, and suspect at best moving the ball.

No matter what Florida does, if USC wins out, the Trojans will deserve a shot at the National Title game against the OSU/Michigan winner.

Dang, the BCS polls already put USC ahead of Florida. I figured the Gators had at least one week at #3. I don't see how the Gators can jump USC as long as the Trojans win out. Bummer. Then again, Florida hasn't been playing like a national championship team this year.

62-0....whippee-flippin'-do. I now these things are scheduled way in advance, but with USC beating Cal, it looks like the Gators will slip further behind USC. As a Gator fan, all I can hope for is a solid defeat of Arkansas in the SEC title game, and hope USC plays a couple close games in the next few weeks.

Notre Dame should not even be talked about in the national title game. I don't care where they are ranked...I do not care. You guys wanna talk about a team getting where they are based on name recognition.....Notre Dame.

I see it the same way, with one little exception...

11 down, one to go.........

GO BUCKEYES!!

Seriously, I'm glad Michigan won. This should make for a really good Ohio State - Michigan game!!

+1. I am a member of The Buckeye Nation.

This was a great game. "That team up north" is a respected foe, but this year it is all about Ohio State.

With that performance, Troy Smith has all but wrapped up the Heisman. Jim Tressel is 5-1 against Michigan and most likely will have a second national championship. And now all we have to do is wait to see who our opponent will be. Hopefully the 50 day lay-off won't be too much of a factor, but I don't see even USC, Notre Dame or Florida touching them. This will make us the first team in history to beat three #2 teams in one season.

Life is good. :)
