anyone else hate notre dame as much as i do? i knew they were over-rated after their narrow win in week one, but i had no idea that michigan state would do this to them! if they don't get some balance on offense, even with their joke of a schedule, they will be in for a long season while teams key in their passing game......
ohio state didn't play penn state as tough as i thought they would, it was too close until the 4th- they are going down nov 18th!!

go blue!!

Yes, As any Trojan would. But apparently rumors of the Leprechaun's demise were premature...
[v-12, don't you hate that mouldy cheese taste]

lol, i should be used to it by now! ;)

i still think they will get thier clocks cleaned at least one more time before bowl season- 44 yards rushing this week, and after ~20 rushing yards last week doesn't speak well.....

don't worry; notre dame is still overranked. they orchestrated an epic come-from-behind win... over unranked MSU. :scowl:

that and nearly blowing it with georgia tech and being blown out of the water by michigan speaks none too good for the irish.

other thoughts:

this just isn't penn state's season. i was hoping they would beat OSU. :hmm:

i am very disappointed with the colorado/georgia game: i really thought that the buffs would pull off the W (after seeing the first quarter, that is). :bawl:

ok, now for the florida stuff:

we didn't look that great against UK. every other play from them was a screen, and it worked just about every single time. inexcusible.

we were able to get quite a number of sacks without marcus thomas, but that could just be UK's O-line.

dallas baker and tim tebow looked like superstars last night. chris leak engineered a great two-minute drill drive before the end of the half.

despite that, though, chris leak got booed when meyer sent him in to replace tebow after he ran for over 60 yards in three plays. that decision didn't make sense (especially after leak threw an INT in the endzone :scowl:), but that was a low for the gator fans. afterwards, there were chants of "leak for heismann" to atone, although that seems to be more of a pipe-dream than anything else:

chris leak is good, to be certain, but he has thrown an interception in each game so far and lacks any sort of mobility. besides, with our receiving corps this year, anyone would look like a superstar. :D

oh, and our kicker sucks.

we'll have a tight game against alabama next week, i think. they're still gonna be angry about their loss against arkansas.

How so? You talking about the championship game in January?

Well I figured they'll be down to about 3 by the end of the season, despite being undefeated. They aren't a "popular" team, but they are the most complete team I've seen thus-far. They dominate defensively and are pretty powerful offensively. If they were in the PAC10, Kirk Herbstreet and Lee Curso would be having the semi-annual "Best Ever" talks.

I could be wrong.

Oh quit your whining! If you think it is bad now, go ahead and come to the Pac-10, and Auburn will fall off the map.

There is only one West Coast school getting any serious national pub, and that is USC. The national TV and radio guys are going to talk about the teams people care about, and USC is one of those teams. Just like Notre Dame, there are USC grads and fans all over the country. I love the Florida Gators, but I don't know anyone else around here who does. Auburn out here? Not a chance.

Auburn is a good team, and they'll be playing for the national title if they win out in dominating fashion.

I meant if they were in the PAC10 they would dominate those no-defense playing, surfer boys. :D
