looks like auburn's got their hands full........

Yup. They better turn up the heat on Spurrier and put a beatdown on the Gamecocks.

This is a nationally televised game, and all the Pac-10 loving surfer dudes out here on the Left Coast are watching closely. I'd have to say that thus far they are generally unimpressed with this supposedly mighty SEC team. Not necessarily how I feel, but I know how these guys think out here.

Great route on 3rd down there.. I personally think that, on third down, it's a SUPER DUPER idea to make your cut THREE yards short of the first down marker :rollno:

And then a low-percentage lob into the corner of the end zone on fourth?

SC could have taken Auburn, but their own boneheadedness was their downfall, not a great stand by Auburn...

Auburn at 2??? Everyone has their down games, maybe this was theirs. Remember, Ohio State was the first 14-0 team in history, but there were a LOT of close calls that season to suspect teams... don't count out Auburn yet, but I wouldn't suggest Tiger fans go pick up their BCS championship game tickets quite yet either.

I feel the same. This is the kind of game the West Coast voters will remember. I think that even though Auburn won, this may be damaging to their case for a shot at the national title game. When it gets down to picking the two teams to play, these kinds of games will factor into the decision.

I like Auburn [I know, heresy here in LA]

To be fair [from a former PAC10 resident]

Lest the West Coast voters forget those couple of squeakers that that other SC team got past to win their championship.

i'm disappointed with the usf/rutgers game. it could've been tied at the very end! :bawl:

usf's freshman quarterback, grothe, looked really good, if you conveniently forget about the two interceptions.

gonna be leaving shortly for the uf/'bama game. :hyper:

(alabama is one of the sec schools that i just cannot hate. their mascot is an elephant despite them being called the crimson tide. that's just too friggin' awesome.)

Today was a good day for me. Penn State won easily, and Chris Leak looked real good in Florida's beating of Alabama. I can hardly wait for the October 14th game against Auburn.

BTW Brad Barker.....I have no problems disliking Alabama, elephant or not.

lol.

for the first half, we weren't able to do jack offensively. then chris leak ran for something like 30 yards.

no typo. chris leak, not tim tebow, not one of our running backs, had the longest run of the game.

i "sat" at the 30 yard line, three rows off of the playing field. we were at the alabama side, so everyone around me spent much of the game shouting at the 'bama players.

also, our best running back is injured. at least we'll have percy harvin back for lsu.

****Paging GARD****

Hey buddy...I'm heading out for Denver Friday morning. I won't be home until late Tuesday, long after Florida tags LSU with another loss this Saturday. BOO-YEAH!!

PM in your Inbox buddy. :D
