God, ain't that the truth. I'm seriously considering putting the TV on mute and switching on the radio, but that won't save me from their overuse of replays and crowd/player/coach reaction shots.
Yeah, Verne is also directing the telecast...
I know I'm in the minority, but I love Verne. I grew up watching him at the local ABC affiliate here in Dallas/Fort Worth. He even did the local "Bowling for Dollars".
I also recognize that I enjoy what he used to be, not what he is today.
Wow. Unless Florida has some miracles up their sleeve the next 13 minutes, Alabama has got this one.
Congrats to Bama - Florida definitely didn't look like a title contender today.

Whew! Glad that one is in the bag! I was a bundle of nerves just wondering if we could hold out. I didn't expect to beat the Gators that bad, but after last year, I guess it shouldn't surprise me.
I hope Florida will go to New Orleans and represent the SEC better than we did last year.

The Longhorn offense is going nowhere right now. Good thing our defense has limited Nebraska to two field goals thus far.
man, what a disappointment for me. it looked like we came out with our "arkansas" squad today. 
here's my analysis:
1) florida committed some horrible penalties. personal fouls, roughing the passer... just horrible. florida had to play a clean game to win, and we didn't.
2) florida's d-line was blown away. i don't think dunlap would've made too much of a difference. no pressure on mcelroy, wide open holes for ingram to trot through. can't win the trenches, can't win the game.
3) the glaringly obvious problems with florida's offense did'em in. play selection, execution, tebow's trend downwards. this was not an offense assembled to come back from a 19-point deficit.
florida had a chance at the game, even though we were outplayed, but that screen with the blown coverage seemed to really take something out of our defense.
last year was florida's year. i wish that this year was also florida's year, but the better team won the championship.
honestly, i didn't even really enjoy this season very much. the wins were ugly, and all the ugly wins were indicative of the problems that cost us today's game. i hope next year's offense will be better coached, but it's going to be a step down on both sides of the ball.
