Need some help: TIs vs. Fender Flats

Only open. A string as well. It has had the same strings for at least 10 years so this is my first time changing bass strings.View attachment 4735616

first time I have ever seen the strings put on upside down. The strings should always be wrapped with the string going towards the nut at the bottom of the tuner. Also a good idea to put some goof finger pressure just behind the nut on the tuner side of the string to set the string.

stringing it correctly should take care of your buzzing problems as well.
