Sigh... look...
Saturating Jorg, with email?? lol... sigh... hardly the case. With so many folks not thoroughly reading my comments in this post, or simply misunderstanding what I'm trying so hard to clarify, perhaps it's best if I simply rewrite history and give everyone what they are looking for?... Here we go. History rewrite; "I'm so very thrilled with my Schroeder experience! Jorg suggested I buy two, 4ohm cabs instead of two, 8ohm cabs. He provided me a box to facilitate running the two, 4ohm cabs. The box came with the first cabinet, promptly. When I had some issues hooking the box up, Jorg was right there for me! Even though he couldn't answer my questions himself, he put me in touch with his engineer, who quickly answered my questions and got me on my way. After months of utilizing my brand new Schroeder cabs, I couldn't be happier! Here's to Schroeder cabs, for their after-sale customer service and concern for their clients experience. Buy a Schroeder! Wait, I take that back; buy two!" Everyone feel better, now?

I sure do.
Something I see as frequently getting lost in forum threads is that, as consumers, customer service is not a group activity or experience. Your individual positive experience doesn’t invalidate my negative experience, and my negative experience doesn’t invalidate your positive experience.
I had an issue with a GK amp. There was no issue with the reseller; they gave me a replacement unit and ultimately accepted the return of that. Loss of some time and some frustration were all that I suffered. The most negative parts of the experience were what I saw as being misled by and held at arms length by GK reps (i.e., that they had never heard of the problem and simply leaving questions unanswered) and here on the forum, where I was told over and over that the problem must be with me because (1) “GK has great customer service” and (2) “That amp is solid doesn’t have a problem.”
Point being, customer service is not a group activity or experience for consumers. Others’ positive experiences didn't invalidate my negative experience, and other properly working units were not evidence that there was no problem with mine.
That said, in putting it out there on TalkBass, you open yourself up to criticisms that putting it out there on TalkBass can bring. People read what you have written the best they can and run it through their own filters, many will (and have) misapprehend and run full-tilt with it without understanding you.
What I get out of this is that you had a negative experience based on not having your expectations met for delivery of a promised piece. I can appreciate and have myself experienced “souring” on products and vendors from my own bad experiences. That’s it…the whole ball of wax…the rest of it is just TalkBass noise; certainly nothing that needed a 10 page (and counting) thread, but there it is. This is TalkBass.
I choose to discount the aspersions and judgements on and against either side and assume that some miscommunication and misunderstanding that is unlikely to be uncovered here is at the root of the issue.
Beyond that, I have experiences with Jorg that form the basis of the filters that I run the noise through. The idea of him nefariously promising “magic” and that he can deliver the impossible that so many replies were fixated on, I simply doubt. Personally, I feel that the idea that remorse due to a vendor having “talked a customer into something they didn’t want” is pretty weak, and I assume this was another point of miscommunication and misunderstanding. And here you are, sighing and fighting with people on the Internet...
