Admittedly, I haven't had much time to mess around with them, but what stands out most is that while they are adorable, these are not a novelty by any stretch.
They sound much larger and more authoritative than what you would expect from such a small enclosure, very tight sounding, but not boxy.
I played my active F Bass BN5 through them, using an AG700 and it accepted the challenge admirably, never giving the indication that it was too much for them to handle.
That being said, I was using two of them and I had them fairly close to a wall, so I'm sure that was helping amplify the low end.
I'll report back when I've had more time to use one or both in a rehearsal/gigging situation with and without drums. That will be the true indicator of what these diminutive cabs can muster.
But so far so good!
The Barefaced must have a neodymium magnet, no?
These are ceramic, as I've mentioned in my last post.
I'm sure if they would have used a neo driver in these, they'd be lighter but wouldn't be as full bodied.View attachment 5166982
That set of cabs with a brown TH350 and either a burnt ends finished Stingray or Walnut or Mocha P or J?? Droooooool.
