OK! it came in today!!! this will make a great rig for most of my jobs- I still think my Epifani 15/210 rig will be great for outdoor gigs. I have a TH500 coming tuesday!
I happened to stop back at Premier Bass today to pick up one of my basses from the in-house luthier, and they just happened to have a pair of CN112s hooked up to a TH500, so I of course just "happened" to give the rig a test run.It sounded fantastic and made an awesome match with the CNs! I was able to directly compare with the MBFusion 500 that I liked previously, and the Tone Hammer won. Now I want one. Lol

Bergs & the TH500 are a great match.
I use 2 AE112'S with my TH500 often and with my RW-P with TI flats = huge round pillowy but punchy vintage tone for the rest of the band to nestle in.
Lovely!

We combine the Puma 500, 900, and 1000 with all of the Bergantino line here at the shop @ bassandbeyond.net, but I especially like the Puma gear with the CN series, it's really the perfect match IMHO, sounds even better to my ears than the Puma matched with the original TechAmp cabs.
I've been watching your clips online of this pairing and have really been digging what I hear. Any idea if a Puma 1000 fits in the front pocket of an igig bag?
I would stay away from the Puma1000, unless you are planning on using two 4ohm cabs. The Puma900 is the thing. Very even, warm, and punchy. Perfect head for a 4ohm impedance, and that very nice combination of 'relatively neutral' combined with 'non sterile'.
Is the Puma 900 perfect for a single 8 Ohm cab too?
Sure. It has more than enough power at 8 ohms.
Is the Puma 900 perfect for a single 8 Ohm cab too?
Absolutely. As a matter of fact, it is even MORE appropriate for a large, single 8 ohm cab, because of the impressive 8ohm wattage (basically, the same as your Orange with the impedance switch).
My main point was to stay away from the Puma1000 unless you have '2ohm needs', and even then, given the way they have that amp configures, there are better options. My 'perfect for 4ohm impedance' was an inaccurate way of saying 'perfect for 4ohms or above'!
