NEW Electro Harmonix LIZARD QUEEN Octave/Fuzz Pedal

The bass sample is fairly impressive sounding to my ears. I have to wonder if the cheap small version sounds the same as the big box limited edition...
and so it begins.jpg

Really that old chestnut....
You know, that old chestnut.jpg

EHX's bass demo they used a parallel blender for it, but it sounded sick.. would fit nicely in the FX loop of my HX Stomp :smug:

Yeah, that demo sounded nice. Admittedly, I'm lazy and I have to be in a mood where I feel like dealing with my HX Stomp. Maybe we'll see some mods for this where a blend or clean control is added by some of the savvy folk around here?

Dig the sound on guitar too. Gets a good classic rock lead sound.

Maybe; I'd use a crossover blend within the Stomp to keep the lows in good shape; a Damnation Bloop or his new Dirt Fixer would also work I'd assume

Looks cool, sounds awesome!

I have to laugh at the comments about both EHX and JHS- as if selling a pedal and making a dollar are bad things.
Yeah I don't know what people are so up in arms over... JHS and EHX took care of everyone with this release.. truly. If you had the dollars to spend (and the pedalboard real estate) for the big box unit you got a super vibey item at a price that after watching about the production and design etc.. makes sense. The fact that each are screen printed by hand is insane to me AND for them to design a second "chase" of 30 to surprise some lucky buyers incredible really... On the other end of the spectrum there's a $100 version of the same pedal that sounds practically identical and it's mass produced. Win, Win, Win in my humble opinion. I've got an order in for the Nano, definitely had the big box version in the cart and thought about it today. I'm stoked for everyone involved and I hope this pedal rips on bass with the clean blend (and maybe hopefully without) as well as EHX made it sound in their video today.

in the video they do explain the differences, and emphasize that they are the same.

it may take slightly different settings but the same sounds are there.

i love this pedal, and have been looking for a hendrix type octave fuzz. for $100 it looks like a very cool pedal.
